Re: Minority: do I even have a shot?
i would say yes you have a shot. firms do not get awards for interviewing people. they would not interview you just to say that htey did. that would be silly.

I agree with the above poster. They wouldn't interview you unless they were truly considering it.
Good luck!

Re: Minority: do I even have a shot?
Firms get no points with anyone for interviewing candidates they have no intention of actually considering for employment. If it is a small firm that means they don't have designated hiring professionals; the attorneys take time out of their busy schedules to make those decisions themselves. If they've contacted you for an interview it is because they are interested enough to take the time to meet with you, and that means you have a shot.
As a fellow black female, let me say that you have to put race and gender out of your mind when you walk into this interview. That kind of doubt, however subtle, can cripple your confidence. Just go in there knowing that you have the chops to get this job and work your best to convince them of that. Remember, if they reject you for being a woman and/or being a minority 1) you will likely never know and 2) that is not the kind of place you want to be working anyway.
