Lavender Law for laterals?
Anyone have any experience with lateral recruiting at Lavender Law? Does it exist, and if so, would it be worth attending? I'm coming from a small boutique firm with three years of experience from a secondary market.

When we send people to Lavender Law, we're not intentionally looking for lateral recruits, but if you were a good candidate, your information would get passed on to the right lateral recruiting people at my firm. Lateral hiring is just much more informal.

Attending as a barred attorney also makes it a lot easier (not that it's ever easy) to network into lateral positions during events other than the recruiting cattle call. Not unworth your time since you'll be among friendly company.
