Greetings TLSers,
I'm currently 1L and really interested in doing a USAO internship, I missed out on the summer internship application period last year, but I'm interested in trying to apply for an internship this fall or next summer. May I ask people who have done a USAO internship, what is the schedule like for either fall or summer? Is it relatively flexible, or is it set in stone? Is it full 8 hour days or is it part time? How many days a week? Thank you!

Re: USAO internship schedule?
It probably depends on the office, but I interned in the DC office during the fall semester and they required a minimum of 16 hours per week. I worked two full (8 hour) days per week. I was able to pick the days that worked with my class schedule and they were extremely flexible if I needed to switch days due to exams, papers, life, etc. It was an amazing opportunity and I highly recommend applying. You should apply first and discuss availability after you get the offer/when they ask. Hope this is helpful.
