In House Summer
How much do in house summer jobs typically pay (Fortune 100)?
Would a full summer in house be better than a half summer at a midlaw firm? Both are in the same market and the firm services companies in the in house company's industry.

It depends. Does the company do any kind of work that you'd be interested for your career goals? Would the midlaw firm be more aligned with your goals?
Sure, money is the ultimate factor, but also think about how either of these opportunities can help you achieve you career goals.

I had two offers for in-house, one at F500. Both paid $25/hour = $1000/week.

In house is my ultimate goal in the industry this job is in. The firm does work exclusively for that same industry.zot1 wrote:It depends. Does the company do any kind of work that you'd be interested for your career goals? Would the midlaw firm be more aligned with your goals?

Can those posting on this thread post what range of schools they are attending (e.g. HYS, CCP, VBD,CMGNN)? Thanks in advance. I'm interested in whether 1L Corporate jobs are only available to T14 students.
