Fairly junior litigation lateral (3-4 years, about 20 clients I've done work for) in major market. How long do conflicts/background typically take to clear?

Can take 1-2 weeks or more. (My list as a paralegal is 9 pages and it's never taken longer than that for me.) You're not going to not get an offer--I've never heard of anyone not passing conflicts, ever. Worst case, they'll put an ethical wall in, unless it's a huge client. You should be fine.
