M&A --> SEC?
Is M&A associate to SEC a viable move, and if so, to what division would make the smoothest / most viable transition?

I don't know how movable, but there is an office of M&A in corp fin division

It's certainly been done before, but it's not a smooth path. Depending on the kinds of deals you worked on, IM might be a viable option.

You can't get into MA in CF unless you go through an operations group. So probably disclosure in CF or IM.
