Boutique law firms (NYC)

Post by Anonymous User » Sun Feb 14, 2016 6:04 pm

Any info on how to get a job at the "elite" boutique law firms (esp. kobre and kim, Morvillo, Lankler)? For example, grade or experience requirements? Any personal anecdotes on experiences applying for jobs would be great.

Do you have any more specific questions? You can just peruse the profiles of associates at these firms to see how you stack up.

Feel free to PM me.

OP here. I'm wondering more about (1) timing on lateral offers and (2) grade cut-offs. I'm wondering how long the process can take (e.g., how long from application to interview? interview to offer? etc). Also, my grades are average at a T14. Dealbreaker? Thanks much!

Yes that would probably be a deal breaker for any elite boutique.
