Took a new job with a different firm and have a background check I am concerned about. Last year I went to a mental hospital, spoke to the docs for a few hours, they waited a few hours while I sobered up, and I left. I assume this will show up, though.
FWIW: been with the same firm for over two years. New firm is a satellite office but not big law by any means. Thanks in advance.

I highly doubt this shows up on a background check. There might even be some HIPPA concerns involved here preventing it from being disclosed.

Was law enforcement involved in this in anyway?

No. Not at all. I do not have any arrests. Only thing from LE was an underage drinking ticket about 11 years ago in college.Tls2016 wrote:Was law enforcement involved in this in anyway?
It was totally voluntary and was just there for about 6 hours tops, maybe less. Was wondering about HIPPA, but thought it may still show up as a visit on BG check. Thanks all for the help.
