Summer or semester? Office? Geography? This question is not answerable without more information.

Generally, we look for decent grades (top third) and a solid writing sample. SLIP (which is a paid 2L summer internship) is a lot more competitive than volunteer internships (unpaid 1L summer internships and semester externships).

Hello Catinthewall! Thanks. I think I meet the grades criterion so hope that the writing sample and work experience are up to par! Is work experience a big part of the evaluation? I've had a bit, but unfortunately nothing law related. Is there anything particular that I could say that would distinguish me during the interview?catinthewall wrote:Generally, we look for decent grades (top third) and a solid writing sample.
