Boston Opportunities
Anyone know of any firms still hiring for 2L summer associates or companies hiring in-house in Boston? Had to turn down my one offer across the country for family reasons, and my school isn't much help for Boston. Anything is appreciated.

Re: Boston Opportunities
As far as biglaw you'll have little luck. There will probably still a decent # of small to mid sized law firms who will have started looking in january and will finish around march for summer clerks. Expectation would be that these don't consistently lead to offers. I was considering Boston during beginning of OCI process and had mass mailed a fair number of firms there, big and small. More than a handful of those firms told me to reapply in January or March for their summer programs.
Try to find a good list of boston firms and just start mass mailing. http://masslawyersweekly.com/files/2013 ... maller.pdf is a list to start with.

PM me and I'd be happy to try to help. I can check my school's listings. The prior poster is right that biglaw hiring is largely done, but there will certainly be small and midlaw hiring sporadically throughout spring.
