Hi,
I am not in the east coast but wish to get a job in New York. I have an extensive international business background. NY has a lot of international transactions but is it focused on financial/capital markets?
I am looking to work on venture capital/emerging company areas. I know that CA is a much bigger market but how is the NY legal market for those areas? How big is it? Which areas of industry are more focused? For instance, Boston is for healthcare and SF is for internet/high-tech. How about NY?
