Christmas Cards after SA
Should I send, like, the recruiting coordinator a Christmas card or something if my SO and I are sending them out anyway?
I'm thinking no, but my assburgers makes me want to double check with humans. Is this a thing that people do?

I think if you actually became friends with someone from the firm such that you'd send someone that you're that close to a card, go for it. Don't send them a card (or e-mail) just because they hired you. It's not a social relationship; they were paying you.

Your SO hasn't stopped you from doing this? Like, they also think it might be ok?

Didn't run it by him and for sure won't now. Can't clue him in on the capacity for poor judgement lurking over here.BigZuck wrote:Your SO hasn't stopped you from doing this? Like, they also think it might be ok?

If you want to put your relationship to the ultimate test then you should ask him. If he also thinks it's a good idea then you know that you need to call it off. That'd simply be too many burgers for one household.Anonymous User wrote:Didn't run it by him and for sure won't now. Nothing's wrong with sending a card to someone you like (as I already said). That's just not the same as sending a card to the recruiting coordinator apparently just because they are the recruiting coordinator.ballouttacontrol wrote:wtf is wrong with sending an xmas card to someone you like?
