Regional Biglaw

Post by abcde123456 » Sun Dec 06, 2015 10:25 pm

I got a summer associate position at a regional Biglaw firm for next summer (not ranked on Vault, but 150+ lawyers). NALP says the yearly billable req is 1750. What are people's experience with regional Biglaw? I'm assuming it's hard, but not as hard as NY or LA. I'm sure YMMV, but I like to read other people's experiences. Makes me feel as if I have some idea of what's going to happen. FWIW this firm has a reputation for being a "lifestyle firm," but lol.

I don't think there's such think as an upper limit in big law or midlaw since the business model of the firm is to sell your time.
