I'm working at a big firm for summer SA, but I want to make some money now so I have gotten a job as a law clerk for the spring semester. Do I need to let my firm know about this? If yes, how should I let them know? Would this mess with getting an offer at the end of the summer?
Thanks in advance for any advice.

Yes, you will need to go through a conflicts check for your summer firm job prior to starting so that they can put any necessary ethical walls in place for any conflicting matters. Unlikely to tank your SA gig. But they need to know what you're working on/have worked on so that they can deal with conflicts and wall off documents on the system appropriately.felinafelina wrote:I'm working at a big firm for summer SA, but I want to make some money now so I have gotten a job as a law clerk for the spring semester. So is that something I would do now, or would I do that at the beginning of the summer?RedGiant wrote:Yes, you will need to go through a conflicts check for your summer firm job prior to starting so that they can put any necessary ethical walls in place for any conflicting matters. I would let them know in the springtime when they start contacting you with more details about your start.
