Background Check from Firms

Post by Anonymous User » Sun Oct 25, 2015 5:58 pm

Hey guys,

Accepted an offer at a firm and sent in my information for a background check. However, I just received another offer which I plan on accepting and will have to rescind on my first one. Question is, how should I tell Career Services what's going on? When they receive a call from two different background firms, I'm assuming they'll ask me what happened. Should I just notify them of the situation, or let it play out?

You should notify your CSO office. Generally if you're asking, "should I notify them?" the answer is yes.
