Connecticut job opening

Post by EagleOnline » Mon Oct 19, 2015 1:58 pm

Mods, am I allowed to post this? Please feel free to move this post if you think it necessary. I really am not trying to break forum rules, which as I understand would only happen if I asked for legal advice or tried to share copyrighted material.

So my friend has been asking me to help him find a lawyer in a defamation matter and it has to be someone barred in Connecticut. I am not licensed to practice in CT and since all the lawyers he reached out to quoted him high prices (like $2,500 for a cease and desist letter), he asked me to help him find more affordable representation, and I really didn't know anyone doing personal injury in Connecticut. What I thought was maybe there are new Connecticut graduates on TLS who are looking to hang their own shingle and take their own cases. If you are one of those people, you might find this case an easy win (I know all the details and it's not going to be too difficult). And my friend is willing to give up to 100% of the damages awarded to you in exchange for a low retainer fee and a low fee for cease and desist letters.

Anyway, if there is anyone who is interested in this, maybe you could anon-reply to this thread or just PM me? Whatever works. I really hope it's ok for me to post this here! :P
