Two questions.
A firm that recently gave me an offer has extended me an invitation to come to the firm for a second visit. I am going to be accepting the offer regardless of whether or not I go on this second visit, but I am wondering if it is rude and/or unwise to decline their offer to come for a second visit? My inclination is that it will save the firm valuable time and money if I just accept and decline the second visit, but I don't want to risk anything that could put me in bad standing before I even start.
Second question, should I accept the actual summer associate offer through legal recruiting or through the partner that called me?
Thank you in advance.

Re: Second look / accepting an offer
1. Definitely not rude. I declined at the firm I ended up choosing because I got tired of traveling/couldn't miss another class of my once-a-week seminar.
2. I called the partner. He seemed to appreciate it.
Good luck.

Re: Second look / accepting an offer
Seems the offer to visit again was just in case you weren't sure but were open to a little more persuasion. I think its cool to say "no thanks, I learned enough during my interviews to know this is the place I want to work, so I happily accept the offer."Anonymous User wrote:Two questions.

Congrats on the offer!
