Time sensitive, so posting outside appropriate thread.
Waiting to hear back from a CB for an honors program. Weakest part of my app is I haven't intered there before. They have open internship positinos - would applying to one of these while the hiring committee is possibly considering my app. I would actually like the internship either way, but the full time post is the bigger concern ofc.
My thought is that this would both demonstrate commitment to that agency, and fill the gap of targeted experience. But, could also come off as try hard. Thoughts?

Re: Government Honors Question
I'm in the same position with the same agency. I started writing the cover for the spring internship, but couldn't figure out how to gracefully shoehorn in the fact that I'm waiting on a decision about summer honors, and I didn't submit it. Curious to hear others opinions
