So, I recently graduated a ~50ish ranked law school, and got stuck in a small law firm doing work that won't make me attractive to any biglaw firm.
I have a heavy background in finance, securities, etc, but the work I do now is only tangentially related.
I sent out a resume, back in April to a PE company. On the first day of my new job (early this month), I was contacted by the GC. He wanted to interview me, and was very willing to make accommodations to ensure that I didn't get in trouble with my new job.
He cancelled, and tried to reschedule. I responded immediately and suggested times, but he never reached out to me again. The day of the rescheduled meeting was supposed to be yesterday. I never received anything from him.
I know there's no way any of you could possibly know what happened, but I guess I just wanted to vent about it. What could make a GC go so long without responding and breeze past the meeting day that he suggested himself?

Confused as to why you didn't follow-up after suggesting times and hearing nothing? Even the day before, like hey are we meeting tomorrow?
This sucks, but the guy is probably super busy.

Ah yeah that sucks. Not sure when to chalk up to super busy or he's just not that interested, sorry. I would shoot another email at some point, but that's rough him not responding to two emails.
