Same situation. Someone who I hate summered at Simpson this summer.Anonymous User wrote: -Summer Class- There's someone in my 2L class who has accepted Simpson who I (and many of my classmates) don't like, probably the only kid in my entire 2L class that I don't like. I'd prefer to avoid this person if I can, so this makes me lean toward Cleary.
I feel that Cleary certainly has better people personality-wise.

If you summer at Clearly good luck getting the firm to pay for lunches north of 14th St, which essentially means you will be missing out of some of the best NYC cuisine.
If that matters to you, Simpson is the easy choice

Don't really have any useful advice for OP other than I had friends at both places this past summer, and all were happy with their choice

OP -- if you are leaning towards cleary, you should trust your gut and go there. given what you've said about your practice area desires, etc., it's impossible to make a bad decision if your situation.
