Not sure if you're a current law student, but last I heard, the Denver office stopped hiring out of law school a couple years ago. Don't know a lot about the rest of your questions since no one I went to LS with has enough experience to get hired there yet.

Not a current law student. Do you know why they stopped hiring out of law school? Was it dictated by the downturn?

Re: Tell me about Sherman & Howard
My understanding was they originally instituted the rule a while back, maybe because of the downturn. They lifted it for a while, but put it back a few years ago because they realized that hiring from clerkships/laterals was working better. This is all based on one conversation a while back, so I might not 100% remember it.

Thanks for the info.
I saw some 2007 articles saying they were raising starting salaries from $100k to $120k. Also that there was an 1800 billable requirement. Didn't know if the market has gone up any since then.
