DPW v. Paul Weiss v. Less prestigious in DC & California
Leaning lit but open to trying new things this summer. Am reluctant to go into NYC big law but I loved both Davis Polk and Paul Weiss (probably DPW more than Paul Weiss, but the general consensus seems to be that pw is stronger for lit.). Have options in DC and SF/SV too--more along the lines King & Spalding DC, Morgan Lewis SF, etc. and would probably prefer those markets since I don't want to work myself to death but liked the NYC firms more. Thoughts? And thoughts on if prestige really matters/trumps?
