Paul Hastings v. Fried Frank (both NY)
Obviously I will be doing second looks, informational interviews, online research, etc., but I always value input from TLS community. Leaning towards litigation--particularly government investigations/white collar. I talked to a lot of young associates at PH who had been doing really interesting work in that area.
That being said, I could see myself doing a 180 once I actually try out corporate work during a summer, so strength in corporate work (I know that is a VERY broad category) is a consideration as well.
Thanks guys!

Would you say you're opposed to working in a cubicle?

Haha--oddly enough, I worked for 4 years before school and when I finally got my own office I really didn't like it! Felt lonely and unproductive. I will take windows over privacy any day of the week. Seriously.

If anyone else needs easy answers to burning firm choice questions, feel free to post here.
But srsly it's kinda bush league for any first year associate to not have a window AND privacy

The cubicles, I mean, cough cough, "end zones," will actually have windows though. Still pretty bush league.

I'd rather have a solo cubical than share a small ass regular office. Shared offices are a cubical without the individual space.
