Pregnancy as Associate
I work in a small firm (about 15 attorneys) and am a third year associate. When would you announce a pregnancy? Obviously, I am waiting until after 12 weeks. Assuming I'm not showing, is it appropriate to wait as long as possible before making the announcement? I work predominantly with men and this won't be well received. Also, I was hired by a partner, not the managing partner. Should I announce it first to the partner that I hired me (that I still predominantly work with) or to the managing partner?
