Haven't Heard from Recruiting
Last week I received an offer by phone from one of the partners I had interviewed with. She told me that recruiting would reach out to me shortly, but I have still yet to hear from them. Should I send recruiting an email?

No. Don't be a spaz. You got the offer, so relax and just check your mail/email every day if you need to OCD about something.

A biglaw firm is the last place on earth you should expect people to be missing deadlines and forgetting documents.

Yeah, if they're dealing with the court or someone who can ruin their careers I'm sure biglaw lawyers are on top of it. As far as job applicants, I don't think firms are too concerned if they send out their offers a little late. Firms know if a job applicant wants to work for them, then the job applicant will wait for their offer before accepting another offer.Anonymous User wrote:A biglaw firm is the last place on earth you should expect people to be missing deadlines and forgetting documents.

"Reach out to the OP shortly" isn't a deadline.Anonymous User wrote:A biglaw firm is the last place on earth you should expect people to be missing deadlines and forgetting documents.
