Anyone else starting at the Federal Trade Commission, either Bureau, this fall? They've been moving frighteningly slow with my HR stuff and today when I emailed to check in with my contact in HR, I got an auto-response that she no longer worked there. I emailed and called every contact I have there right now. My start date's supposed to be October 5th, and I'm a little anxious about getting through the background investigation by that time. Anyone else having these issues?
Edit: Got in touch with someone from HR. Supposed to get my new hire package next week, they're just behind. Would still be interested in getting in touch with others who are starting, though I'm sure we'll meet when we start.
