Practice Group of Callback Interviewers
Do the practice areas of my callback interviewers matter that much? I'm interested in transactional work, but I'm interviewing with several litigation associates.

Recruiting probably just couldn't get enough corporate folks at the time. I often interview sit debts expressing an interest in litigation only, despite being a transactional atty

But before assuming that they just couldn't get corp people - take a look at NALP to see the practice area breakdown of that office. If its a satellite or something, they may only have lit associates, and therefore only have jobs for people interested in lit
