SA compensation undetermined?

Post by Anonymous User » Thu Aug 20, 2015 9:45 am

I recently received an offer from a major firm in a secondary market that has a history of paying market. The offer letter says that the SA compensation has not yet been determined but that it will be competitive with other law firms in the area. Is this standard language or is there a possibility that the pay will be different from the pro-rated $160k?

Probably expecting the imminent move to 190.

Many offers say something similar. It's fairly standard, but hey, it's meant to future-proof the firm and let you be confident that they'll follow the market if the market moves between now and then
