Any thoughts on the Schiff callback? Panel interview or writing exercise advice also appreciated.

Re: Schiff Callback
Well you already have an idea then if you know about the panel interview and writing exercise. You do about 4 or 5 regular interviews and then the panel interview with like 4 partners for an hour and then I think it was an hour for the writing exercise.Just do some research on behavioral questions and you should be fine for the panel. No need to prep for the writing exercise. It wasn't that bad, but I didn't enjoy it. It lowered them on my list, but I know a couple ppl that enjoy working there.Anonymous User wrote:Any thoughts on the Schiff callback? Panel interview or writing exercise advice also appreciated.

Yeah, you can pretty much guess how grueling it's going to be. I was surprised at how deeply they wanted to dig into some of my behavioral answers, but that's the only thing worth noting. My writing exercise was easy in terms of law/interpretation; the real challenge was explaining it to a lay person efficiently.

OP here- Did they just dig into the specifics of your answers a lot re: in-depth behavioral interviews? Anything you all weren't expecting with regard to behavioral interviewing?
Also, what was the timeline from cb to offer/ding? Email or snail mail?

Re: Schiff Callback
It took a week for me to hear back, but they might be faster now.
Just digging. If they didn't think you fully answered what they wanted they would dig a little more or if they were interested they'd ask more questions. It is really not that bad, just really long. I was worn out by the end of it and then had to do a lunch with two associates. All together it was about 6 hours. No other cb I had was longer than 3.5 even with lunch
