Interviewing for different practice group
What does it mean if for a callback interview all the attorneys you are supposed to meet are from transactional when you were pretty clear you wanted lit or vice versa?

That after recruiting spent weeks harassing the entire law firm with repeated email blasts, mostly/only transactional attorneys volunteered in the time slot you are interviewing.

Do my chances get slimmer if this happens? I'm curious how they would know if I "fit" with a particular practice group if I don't speak with any of them.
This might sound like tea-leaf reading but I'm also mass-mailing like a mad man so please do not refer me to "the" thread

Won't hurt your chances at all! Especially at large firms, callbacks are a serious scheduling challenge, but something like this isn't at all out of the ordinary.
