CBs: Meeting with 6+ Attorneys

Post by Anonymous User » Sun Aug 09, 2015 9:07 pm

I've heard that callbacks are supposed to be with only 5-6 attorneys.

For Kirkland, I met with 8 attorneys, and for Latham I met with 10.

Is this normal? Are the interviews tied to the diversity fellowship application somehow?

Not normal for Kirkland. Went on a super day, and met with only 4, then had reception. Did not do diversity fellowship.

I had 6 attorneys in most of my callbacks (4 half hour interviews and then 2 for lunch), 8 at one (but they were 20 minutes interviews instead of 30 minute interviews).

Had 7 for Latham (5 interview, 2 lunch), 8 for Mofo (4x 30 minute interview with 2 attorneys each), 12 for Gibson Dunn if you include lunch and dinner (I was only candidate at the dinner). It all just depends on the office, probably more than the firm in many cases.
