Kinda this, but also, like, it does kinda matter for scheduling CBs and shit. If you know CBs for x firm in your secondary market went out already you don't have to worry about keeping a day open for it when you visit y firm in the same city.

IMO this is just the announcing-jobs-on-facebook thing all over again, but with worse reasons on both sides

What if I didn't get the Gibson Dunn dinner invite? Am I screwed? Did anyone get a CB without getting a dinner invite? Conversely, did anyone ITT get a dinner invite and not a CB? What's the ratio of CB to offers with and without having gone to the dinner?
