State Department Legal Adviser Interview

Post by garyjshaw1 » Thu Jul 30, 2015 8:37 am

I recently secured an interview with the Office of the Legal Adviser at the U.S. Department of State. If anyone has any insight into the office's interview process, particularities that an interviewer is looking for, or other words of wisdom, PLEASE SHARE!

No advice, but perhaps go anon/post under a different handle? Not all employers are thrilled with easily identifiable persons soliciting interview help on internet forums...

(ETA: well, here's some advice, you can read up on L here, http://georgetownlawjournal.org/files/2012/06/Koh.pdf)

Probably OCI. They go to tons of campuses and interview tons of people, same timeline as Biglaw.
