Mass mailing strikeouts

Post by Tygra » Mon Jul 27, 2015 6:48 pm

If I bid on firms for OCI in the fall and was not selected for an interview, is it acceptable to send applications to those firms along with the rest of the mass mailers?
If so, should I mention that I bid on the firm (but was not selected for an interview)?
Also, should it make a difference, none of these firms are ones that I bid on/interviewed with during 1L. I'm a transfer, so they are mostly firms that didn't interview at my old school.

TIA

Yeah

Kind of curious what you mean by "acceptable." What negative consequences are you envisioning?

No consequences. Maybe a poor choice of words. I'm just trying to figure out how to say "you didn't pick me the first time around, but I'd really like you to give me a shot," in an intelligent way.

To clarify: I realize that if they said no the first time around, the worst that can happen is for them to say no again.

Signing in blood and enclosing one lock of hair.
