Does 'corporate' cover capital markets?
Quick question for the masses. I used the term 'corporate' in my cover letter to cover the type of transactional work I am interested in. However, in my description of these works, I used examples from some capital markets transactions that I was part of. I feel okay about using corporate as an umbrella term. Is that okay?

Yes. Corporate is an umbrella term like Litigation. It's more technically Finance work usually but not all firms separate Corp/Finance explicitly
Private Equity, Capital Markets, M&A, Fund formation, lender/borrower debt representation and more all fall under the Corporate aegis.
