I get that Vault is pretty inaccurate at times (bias in favor NY firms, bias towards M&A, etc), but how is it possible that firms like keker van nest, kellog huber, and susman godfrey are not ranked in vault100 at all? are there really that many associates out there who don't know of these firms?

Vault ranks biglaw, not boutiques. It's impossible to compare the "prestige" of an 800-attorney full-service law firm to a small firm that specializes in trial or appellate work.

Yeah I guess so. It just feels so backwards to me that someone out there is voting for like Nixon Peabody over susman.
