Ideal Career Trajectory
TLS’ers, What do you consider as your ideal or best-case career path to be? For example, T14-->10 years in BigLaw-->Partner, T14 -->3 years in BigLaw-->SEC job, T14-->job in a DA’s office in a Mid-size city-->State Judgeship etc, etc...I may be skipping a few steps here. Please also discuss what your “good-enough” career path would look like. Thanks.

Re: Ideal Career Trajectory
You've got to be able to save more than 300K in 5 years if you get market bonuses (and have no kids). Even with sticker debt....sinfiery wrote:Law school --> Big law 5-6 years --> Repay moderate loan amount + Save up 200k-300k for 30 yr Annuity --> At age 30, move to low CoL area and live off 30k/yr annuity while traveling and doing whatever you want* for the 30 years
