Dress Code for First Day At Paul Weiss
Working at Paul Weiss, the website says "business casual" for normal dress, but do people really do that, esp for the first day? I'm thinking about going full suit and tie the first day and taking it from there, but wanted to get y'alls opinion (I don't want to be the super-douche/the only guy wearing a tie the first day).
Thanks!
Thanks!

go with the suit - there's gonna be a mixed bag of suits/biz casual but you also don't want to be the only guy w/o a suit. you can always just take the tie off.

Full suit and tie MINIMUM, preferably at least two ties.

I'm a little out of the loop on pocket square colors/fabrics though. Anyone want to help out?

I've summered at several different firms. All of them had a business casual dress code. Every single SA wore business formal on the first day. You don't have to and it won't matter if you don't, but I would wear a suit. It makes a better impression.

If it would make you feel better, you could just email recruiting and ask them what they suggest.

However, if you wear a pink slip, expect a tuxedo.Poopface wrote:tuxedo, or expect a pink slip
