I don't know when they were contacted but the person had the interview earlier this week via phone. From what I've heard they got a TON of applicants, so I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of people are getting the silent treatment.

I had my interview today. The attorneys I spoke to mentioned that they received a lot of applications and that they don't offer interviews to most applicants. It looks like decisions will be made next week.

They seem to really care about ties. A friend of mine who is in the top third at NYU wasn't even interviewed last year.

I got an interview, and I'm from the South Florida area (West Palm), and I had a friend here at school who got an interview who is from Miami, so this may be credited.

my email said that a certain Special Counsel and District Training Director want to extend an invitation for an interview. are these special counsels and district training directors all the same for everybody who applied to this office?

I submitted my application before the app deadline in January.

no response from the office before this past monday
my interview was yesterday (phone interview) about 7 minutes
tentative offer made today around 6pm via email

Okay thanks for the info. I applied in January, was interviewed last Wednesday and told that I would receive a "confirmation packet" in the mail in a week or so if accepted.
