Why would a 2L SA not receive a full-time offer?
The statistics at V100 firms indicate that the vast majority (~95%) of 2L summer associates receive offers as full-time associates. Typically, what happened to that unfortunate 5%? What would cause a 2L SA not to receive a full-time offer? How predictable is this during the summer? Would they have enough time to line up full-time employment? Is it red flag to employers? Would they ask, "why weren't you offered a full-time position by your 2L firm?"
