Timing for getting 2L offer from 1L firm
Do firms typically offer successful 1L summer associates a position as a 2L the following summer? What is the timing? (Last week of 1L summer? During OCI for 2L summer?) Do you need to submit your 1L spring grades? And would the 1L summer associates need to formally apply for a 2L position and go through interviews again, or was the 1L summer program basically a really long interview already?

Could range from your exit interview (finals weeks of summer) to a month after you finish. Depends on the firm.
