When do firms typically send out W2s?
I'm a 3L who summered and don't quite want to email my firm asking when I can expect a W2, but I also want to know because $6-8k of tax return would be awesome. Should I be checking my mail excitedly every these days, or is this just a firm-to-firm/"anytime before Valentine's day" thing?

They have to be out by January 31.
