This week in-office schedule
Last week.... In office Mon-Tuesday. I would think that was pretty standard for most. What’s your schedule like this week? The same?

Leave earlyish on Weds to get ready for NYE. Two months ago several associates pitched in and plunked down $800 on a reserved table to bring in ’15. So figure Friday is also toast

Re: This week in-office schedule
In the office Monday and Tuesday, may work from home Wednesday, but I doubt I'll be working all day. Off Thursday, working Friday as needed.

Last week: Was in the office only on Wednesday, when I arrived at 7 in the morning but left at 1:30 (I know, weird schedule.)
This week: In the office every day except Thursday, may work from home on Wednesday depending on how Monday/Tuesday shake out

Re: This week in-office schedule
Billed about 50 hours last week - not really sure. In the office - out of the office - doesn't really matter thanks to Citrix.
Next week I'm assuming/hoping I'll have a few quiet hours on New Year's Eve.
First year NYC associate - kinda starting to understand why some people hate BigLaw.

I could have bicycled down I-625. Are lawyers the only ones working today?

Hard to believe all the empty garage parking lot stalls! Thought I had mistakenly shown up to work on Sunday.

Still not sure what to do about tomorrow. Probably half day (vs. home). Work from home on Fri is the hope.

In monday last week, billed several hours from home Tuesday, and took the rest of last week off. In all weeks this week, except Thursday. Will probably bill around 35-40 hours this week.

Re: This week in-office schedule
Deals all got finished around Dec 20 after a long year. Have billed 1.2 since then and have only been to office once since then, just to give gifts to support staff. Hope to not come back until January 5.

Re: This week in-office schedule
Last week: in Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday (half day). Off the rest of the week. Did not have to work at all over the weekend.
This week: in Monday, Tuesday (half day). Probably not going in tomorrow. Definitely not going in Thursday. Will go in Friday if I have work to do. If not, I won't.
My group is strangely slow right now. Not complaining, though.

Done for ’14. At the office on the first Monday in ’15! I wish all Christmases fell on Thursday (like Thanksgiving). HYN.

Small 2 person practice. Some steady small business clients ($1-30M revenue). Keep us busy without killing ourselves.deadpanic wrote:This sounds chill as hell. Are you in small town small law or something?rdawkins28 wrote:12/22 - 10AM-4PM
