This is a bit of a crystal ball question, but one I think should be relevant to a lot of people on here. It seems that growth in the legal industry is, at best, flat and hasn't returned to pre-2007 levels. The courts continue to operate on smaller and smaller budgets, and trials are becoming more and more difficult to set. Technology has created greater access to legal information to the public and is slowly chipping away at document review/due diligence work.
With the legal profession having changed so much in the past 10-20 years, what will it look like 10-20 years from now? Will current lawyers find it increasingly difficult to get more work/clients in the future? Will the profession as a whole slowly continue to deteriorate?

There have always been lawyers, there will always be lawyers. Maybe there will be less work for shitty lawyers, but good lawyers will always be in demand.
