One vacancy (https://www.usajobs.gov/GetJob/ViewDetails/386304000). Worth it for a mid-career patent lit/pros attorney? Judge Raymond Chen did it, any other anecdotal evidence?

so like career clerk for the fed cir? isn't consensus that career clerk is basically the best job possible?

More like staff attorney than career clerk. I mean career clerk is a nice gig if you're not looking for any sort of promotion outside of salary raises.
