I really want to accept the summer offer, but I have some questions:
1. What kind of post-grad opportunities could I parlay it into?
2. Would it work against me if I tried to join a district attorney's office later on?
3. Would it play well applying to firms?
Thanks

Re: Questions about Public Defender Service (DC)
1) Your best bet would be a public defender job somewhere.
2) Usually, PD --> Prosecutor can be done, but maybe look through this thread: http://www.top-law-schools.com/forums/v ... 3&t=155423
3) Maybe smaller firms that do criminal defense work. The DC PD office is highly regarded.
