So my first choice is to work for a district attorney's office, but if that doesn't work out, and I take another position for about 3 years, will I be able to apply to the DA's office and start off getting paid at a marginally higher rate, instead of starting off at the baseline? I ask because I do think I will be able to get some sort of legal work out of school, but I really want to work at a DA's office, and I'm a 3L now. I could have been more aggressive/early this round as well.
What do I do?
Note: I can't be unemployed and volunteer/wait another year to land the DA job.Hopefully, I'll at least be able to intern next semester
