Fragomen Del Rey 2014-15

Just received an email regarding a callback interview at their NJ office after a screener last week on campus.

Anyone have any advice or insight into their interview process? My previous experiences have all been PI, so this is my first foray into the "firm" world...any help would be greatly appreciated!

i have a callback in the NY office. did you choose the NJ office or did they tell you to come to the NJ office for the interview?

I didn't request a specific office, but my recruiter was from the NJ office. They haven't gotten back to me since notifying me last Thursday...perhaps they just move slowly... :?

I think they definitely move slow, but if you have been invited for a callback, its probably just a matter of scheduling.

Yes, thanks, you too. It seems that they are moving slow because I got notified for the callback but I got an interview slot 2 weeks away.

NJ office says that they will try to get back to people around first week of December. Not sure about NY.

i got an offer too. i was told that a permanent offer is always a possibility, just not guaranteed.

Same as what one of the original commenters said. During one of my interviews, one of the partners explained that full time offers weren't the norm, but it's a possibility if there's an opening. I think my original recruiter said something along those lines too.

Anyone else get an offer through phone from the NJ office? I haven't received the official offer email/letter yet, so wondering if I'm the only one...or they're just slow.
