Interview Etiquette when applying for 2 positions

Post by Anonymous User » Wed Oct 01, 2014 10:05 pm

If I apply to 2 jobs at the same company and get interviews for both, should I inform each department that I am interviewing with the other department?

I see the pros and cons. I would think that each would be aware of my application to both positions regardless of whether I say anything and, if not, being in demand is always an attractive attribute. On the other hand, it might come across as noncommittal. Thoughts? In case it makes a difference, these are both in-house positions.
