Hourly for part-time clerk at mid/large firm
Does anyone have an opinion on what an hourly rate should be for a part-time (3L) clerk at a mid/large firm? Firm has around a dozen domestic offices, and is pushing 280 attorneys. The position is in the DC market.

40-70 are numbers I've seen. If the firm pays market, closer to 70 obviously.

Great, thanks. They're offering way below that, and I'm not sure what to make of it. I'd like the experience (it's in the specific practice group I'm aiming for), but it concerns me how much they low-balled me.

They offered me 15, and I'm leaning toward accepting just because of the experience. I'm not desperate for the money at this point (yay loans!), but the experience could be invaluable in the long run.Anonymous User wrote:I make 20 at a 7 person boutique and I"m pleased with that.
